REMEMBERING SHEILA SMITH

It is sad to report the recent death of Broadway actress, Sheila Smith. In New York, at America’s oldest theatrical organization, THE LAMBS, Sheila was the beloved longtime partner of Lambs Club Shepherd (a.k.a. President), the late Randy Phillips. Sheila brought tremendous creative energy to the Club in her unofficial role as Lambs’ “First Lady.” Who can forget the wonderful way she musically presided over so many Lambs Club holiday party Christmas Carol sing-a-longs?
Sheila’s devoted surviving niece,  Jenn Northup, hopes to arrange a memorial at The Lambs in the spring. The Playbill obituary, and other notes regarding her stellar Broadway career, are linked below. May she Rest in Peace.
